It all started with short breaks and cups of tea..
The gossips and updates sometimes made us wee...
Trying to console each other we tried most of the time...
When we are together things seem to be just fine...

I have seen you cry when you had a fight...
We sat together to discuss what if and what might...
Wiping your tears was the beginning of care...
I told you things will be alright...i am there...

I have seen you laugh when you saw the brighter side...
Ignoring things that hurt and opening the happiness doors wide...
Not caring for the world yet doing things the caring way...
Its from you i have learnt to smile...come what may...

I have seen you smile like everyday after night...
Just living in the present never looking behind...
When the workday gets over and you wind...
In comes another life as beautiful as the oldest wine..

I have seen you dance and its worth the while...
I have seen you enjoying that moment like surfing on the Nile...
Dancing your heart out making you high...
Those times are difficult just to let go by...

I have heard you sing with intense so rare...
With a voice so calm...i wish we were a pair...
Sing when you are happy...sing when you are sad...
Life like this is always good..cant ever be bad...

We went off once and eloped into natures lap...
Just go where the road takes us..we had no map..
Very dark it was and we couldn't see a face...
Driving very slow i was..not to win any race...

You were singing old tunes when the moment sinked in...
Round came my arms...the first love was inked...
In flew emotions and round came your arms...
With care so soft and love that would never depart...

A warm hug did mark a step ahead...
Our relationship story started to be made...
That moment I embrace and keep close to my heart...
Your words 'Thanks for letting me go' can make me fall apart...

We parted apart but not willing to let go...
Our eyes said the story..not wet not sour...
We started going back to old lives...
Leaving behind a moment which was much more than nice...

I have seen you sad and hurt real bad...
The scratches on wrists and cuts you had...
A small piece of advice I gave you when..
Don't hurt yourself..things will resolve you need to live then...

I know anger is a thing no one likes...
But there is someone whom you can look up for confidence hikes...
You know who and you know him very well...
He's someone with whom you have jelled...

Neither your love nor your life he is...
Ain't your family nor someone in disguise...
He's someone all yours and yet no one as such...
But now can you guess he cares how much?

Our relation is something i will always cherish...
I'll ensure and never let your smile perish...
We have not named the love we share yet...
Call it friends call it care...its more than everything i can bet...

I promise I'll always be listening to your wishes...
And doing my best to fulfill them...
Because when you see me and when you smile...
